Apply for a Grant

The Tamworth Foundation Grant Guidelines

Priority for Tamworth Foundation discretionary funding is given to projects and organizations which demonstrate the following:
• service to the people of Tamworth
• enhancement of the applicant’s mission
• evidence of collaboration with other community organizations
• a means of becoming self-sustaining
Our grants have supported every aspect of the Tamworth community; youth programs, health and well-being, educational opportunities, arts and recreation, historical restoration, town-wide projects, community stewardship, and matching grants. We place emphasis on having an individual who will be responsible for the success of the project. We also favor projects where some portion of the funds have been or will be raised by other means.

We welcome ideas and queries as well as formal applications. In addition to grant money, we offer advice and guidance to community nonprofits and projects.
